2019 Mazda3 Makes its Debut at the LA Auto Show

The prestigious annual LA Auto Show was held the first week of December, and if you’re unfamiliar with this event, it is one of the largest automobile showcases in the country and automakers from all around the world show off their newest models. One of the most talked-about vehicles at the show was the upcoming 2019 Mazda3. This compact car wowed attendees with its engaging driving experience, thoughtful cabin design, and long list of interior amenities.

The first thing that you’re likely to notice about this new Mazda car is its attractive new Kodo-based design. The vehicle is offered as both a sedan and a hatchback, and both have increased legroom when compared to the 2018 Mazda3. Moving on to the cabin, the driver-centric design boasts a large 8.8-inch color display that peeks out from behind a leather-wrapped dashboard extending from instrument cluster to passenger door. The MAZDA CONNECT™ controller has gotten even more polished and easier to use than ever before.

One of the standout features of the 2019 Mazda3 is the availability of i-ACTIV AWD® for the first time. This feature is rare in the compact car segment, and Baltimore, MD drivers looking for all-season stability will want to include this feature.  The AWD works in conjunction with the G-Vectoring Control Plus system that uses brakes to assist turning, aiding in handling.

Looking under the hood, the 2019 Mazda3 will be powered by a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine. Later in the year, the groundbreaking SKYACTIV®-X engine will debut, and it will come equipped with something known as the M Hybrid system.

Look for the 2019 Mazda3 to hit our dealership in the coming months!
