At Heritage Mazda Catonsville, we are interested in building a future for our customers beginning with their first Mazda test drive. Fortunately we represent an automaker that is dedicated to building products and industry leaders to ensure that customers like you receive the best service and experience possible.

That's one reason why we're happy to report that Mazda North American Operations has announced a three-year partnership with leading technical training institute WyoTech. Graduates of the program will be recognized as certified Mazda technicians after undergoing training at WyoTech's state-of-the-art facilities located in Laramie, Wyo., and Blairsville, Pa. Student enrollment began last month free of charge and advanced courses will continue throughout the year.

Through the partnership with WyoTech, the Mazda brand seeks to provide customers with complete satisfaction, and as a result of the course, trained technicians at Heritage Mazda Catonsville will be able to provide excellent Mazda vehicle service to our customers in Baltimore. After all, accurate and timely service is key to a healthy car and a happy customer, and we're dedicated to achieving both of those in our work every day.

The Mazda certification course introduces students to a curriculum that includes both web-based modules and instructor-led sessions. In addition to the partnership announcement, the Mazda brand has expressed its support for the program through the donation of more than 20 vehicles along with equipment and specialized tooling. The automaker also rotates current model year vehicles through the program in order to give technicians in training an idea of current model year technology.

WyoTech graduates who go on to employment at Mazda dealerships like ours in Baltimore will be able to pursue continuing education in the Master Technician certification available through their dealership and Mazda Training Centers.
