Here at Heritage Mazda Catonsville, your Mazda dealership serving Ellicott City, MD, we’ve been receiving large shipments of the newest 2017 Mazda vehicles. While every sedan and SUV that we’ve had the chance to drive has impressed us, the 2017 Mazda6 is a standout. This family- and commuter-friendly four-door sedan is a well-rounded car that does everything right, providing drivers with an unbeatable combination of strong performance, driver engagement, and evocative styling.

The 2017 Mazda6 is a midsize sedan with ample seating for five. It comes in three different trim levels: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Budget-focused buyers will be interested in the base Sport trim, which comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, remote keyless entry and ignition, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, Bluetooth phone and streaming audio, and a rearview camera. Every trim of the 2017 Mazda6 comes with the MAZDA CONNECT, which at the very least includes voice control, text messaging capabilities, a 7-inch touchscreen, and a six-speaker audio system with CD player, auxiliary/USB input, HD radio, and internet streaming radio.

If you decide to upgrade to the higher trims, you are treated with amenities such as an 11-speaker Bose audio system, satellite radio, LED headlights and running lights, heated mirrors, synthetic leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a traffic sign reader with speed warnings. Moving on to the powertrain, all models of the 2017 Mazda6 contain a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. This efficient engine is matched to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic, depending on your preference.
