Have you been considering buying the 2023 Mazda CX-5 and wondering if you should buy the newest model instead? There are certainly perks to both. We’re highlighting each option at Heritage Mazda Catonsville to help you decide which one is right for you.

Enticing Performance

The 2023 Mazda CX-5 and the 2024 Mazda CX-5 are both offered with the same two powertrain options. Peak performance comes from the SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 engine with Dynamic Pressure Turbo, which can deliver up to 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. However, the 2024 Mazda CX-5 is slightly more fuel-efficient.

New Color Options

There are minimal style changes for the 2024 model. Both crossovers have the same svelte shape and sophisticated cabins.

Still, there are a few tweaks to get excited about. You will see the addition of Platinum Quartz in the exterior paint color options for the 2024 Mazda CX-5. You can also opt for Zircon Sand Metallic, which is exclusive to the new Carbon Turbo model.

New Carbon Turbo Model

The 2024 Mazda CX-5 is now available with a new Carbon Turbo model. It pairs spirited performance with a unique look, including gloss black exterior accents, as well as the exclusive Zircon Sand Metallic exterior paint color. The interior features black suede and Terracotta surfaces, as well as gunmetal accents.

Available Trim Levels

Both the 2023 and 2024 models are available in eight distinct trim levels. With the addition of the new Carbon Turbo model, the 2024 Mazda CX-5 drops the base “S” model.
